The Best Paleo Bread Ever

Low carb, grain free goodness in the oven in FIVE minutes

Familiarity

Starting a new lifestyle can be really challenging. Nothing feels familiar, your body and your mind are adjusting to a new way of being.

For some people, the dramatic changes of say, a Whole30 style diet, are just the ticket.

For some people, a lifestyle change isn't possible without some familiarity.

If you're in the latter camp, having stuff like this grain-free bread on hand can be LIFE SAVING.

PALEO BREAD

  • 1 1/2 c coconut flour (I use Terra's Soul)
  • 3/4 c flax meal (I use Spectrum)
  • 9 eggs
  • 1 T salt
  • 1 T baking powder
  • 2 t apple cider vinegar 
  • 1-2 T seeds for topping (I use black sesame)
  1. Preheat oven to 350, butter a load pan
  2. Mix all ingredients, press evenly into pan. Pat seeds into top.
  3. Bake for about 35 minutes, until golden-brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Nothing beats warm bread

Slathered with ghee and crispy salt, or drippin in nut butter...

Perfect rainy day baking. It's been storming in Philly for what feels like weeks. My house is soaked, but the garden will be so happy!
