  • Behind the Scenes

    Brenda grew up in mid-coast Maine, surrounded by the natural world. Originating in early childhood as a competitive equestrian, Brenda observed the impact a nutritious diet has on the lives of performance animals.

    She internalized the impact proper training and wellness has on an animal's functional ability and well-being throughout their lifespan.

    As a young adult, Brenda shifted this fascination to human nutrition, and later to spiritual healing from life trauma. There were hardships along the way that brought a darkness that seemed to be impenetrable.

    Thankfully, an unexpected epiphany provoked Brenda to push to a greater existence. As she lay on a rubber mat in a stuffy room; sweat saturated every pore of her body, astringent sage smoke filled her lungs, and a boundless desire to lift others up ignited in her heart.
